Woohun Lee is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Design at KAIST and the director of Wonder Lab. He received his B.S. in Industrial Design from KAIST in 1990, and earned his Master of Design in Industrial Design in 1993 and Ph.D. in Engineering in 1996 from Kyushu University, Japan. Before joining KAIST, he led the User Interface Group at Daewoo Electronics Design Research Center from 1996 to 2002, where he worked on user interface design and interactive media. In April 2002, he joined the Department of Industrial Design at KAIST and has since led research and education in interaction design and new media design. Professor Lee has presented his research at leading international venues such as ACM CHI, DIS, and SIGGRAPH. In 2012, he received the Grand Prix at Laval Virtual, an international exhibition dedicated to virtual and augmented reality technologies. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Design Convergence Study.
